Hire Captain Darryl with @marshcruises to take you out to a barrier island and spend some time with your feet in the sand and the sun on your face. It's the best kinda day. While you're there you might just find some seashells by the seashore ;) Oh, check with Captain Darryl to see if the tide is right to hunt for sand dollars and/or sharks teeth as well. His cruises are awesome and give you the chance to get out and explore.

When I was in Swansboro I spent a bit of each day sitting on the front porch swing of our vacation house. I love front porches and its the one thing I wish my house had. There is just something about them that makes me happy. This was our last morning in Swansboro and I wanted to remember this little house by the sea. I hope I get to return to it again. (hosted)

This is my happy place. I'm drawn to water again and again and when I arrive at the ocean it simply soothes my soul. I'm a scorpio which may explain my affinity for big bodies of water and why I feel so compelled to visit as often as I can.

Highly recommend finding a place to sit a while when you visit Swansboro, NC. The abundance of nature in the area just begs you to slow down and enjoy all it has to offer. Sitting by the shore, sipping a cup of coffee and watching the world go by. Best R&R ever. This is the place you go to recharge your batteries and find fresh inspiration. Some vitamin sea always does the soul some good.
