Niagara Falls At Night

One of my favorite things to do is to drive around a new city at night. I love seeing the buildings lit up and stumbling across fun iconic signs. Niagara Falls, NY did not disappoint. Of course, the falls at night are pretty cool, although hard to see from where we were standing, but well worth the short walk.
The area near the falls has some great architecture and seeing it lit up was worth staying up late (ha, ha, yes…10pm is late for me)
Of course, Niagara Falls has been known as a top honeymoon destination for a very long time. I found some great neon hotel signs remnant of the 50’s or 60’s. I can completely picture the newly married couple driving down the road and stopping at one of these motels. I imagine a classic car show along this stretch of Niagara Falls would be spectacular.
There is just something that screams classic Americana when I discover treasures like this. I really wish they would have photographed better.
The casino also lights up pretty spectacularly
Of course, I would be completely remiss in my coverage of Niagara Falls at night if I didn’t include an image of the infamous ice cream cone.
On you next visit to Niagara Falls be sure to drive around at night and see what you can find.
