Marriage, relationships and sex are seldom, if ever talked about here. It’s not that I’m opposed to talking relationships and sex, it’s just that I never have much to say on those topics. I’ve been married forever and things are pretty much boring…boring does not make good blog posts. However, I occasionally come across something not boring and I want to share.

As I mentioned, I’ve been married a looooong time and, as I think happens in a lot of long-term relationships, things starts to fizzle in the bedroom. Work, kids, finances, errands, housekeeping, etc, etc, all weigh on a relationship and you end up being “too tired” or “have a headache” or “not tonight, dear” and before you know it weeks, if not months, have gone by. Yikes! We have been married 20+ years and there have been some serious gaps in intimacy and our marriage has suffered. I hope the same doesn’t happen to you because it’s not a lot of fun. I’m convinced that more intimacy leads to a stronger marriage. Now, if I’m wrong, I’m wrong. At least I’ll have fun while I figure out if I’m right or wrong.
