Valentine Craft for Kids

This is a really easy Valentine craft for kids to complete for Valentine’s Day. It requires just a few supplies and can be done in less than an hour. The word can be anything you’d like: Hugs, Kiss, Love, XOXO, etc. I love how quick and easy this Valentine craft is to complete.

I originally saw this idea at Target and they wanted $10 for it. I didn’t love, love it and thought I could make one for cheaper that I would love a lot more.

Valentine craftThe $3.49 is NOT for the blocks 🙂 It was tagged $9.99 but I moved these up a shelf to get a better photo.

I purchased the blocks at Michael’s for $1.25 each ($6 total). I could have probably bought them cheaper some place else or made them myself, but I just ended up buying them. I had the paint and brush at home and picked up some cheap foam sparkly letters at Walmart. So for about $6.50 I completed this project. Next time I’ll make my own blocks from scrap wood in the garage.

Just paint your blocks any color you like. Let dry. Then attach letters. That’s it. Easy Peasy!

Blocks can be displayed stacked or side by side or however you’d like.
