As it happens. I have tried their Orange Fig Spread – and it is delicious! Thanks for reminding me – and for the yummy sounding recipe. Actually I know it will taste delish because it reminds of taste (flavors) of the ubiquitous British Pub “blue plate special” – “The Plowman’s Lunch” (it’s always a platter including bread, chunks of Cheddar cheese and chutney/preserves) I haven’t had it (or been to England!) in a long time – and I miss it – both the country and the lunch!)

And your timing couldn’t be better. One Sunday (Mother’s Day we’re taking my 90 year old Mom over to my sister’s place for a special “brunch” – My sis is making Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine – and I’m suppose to bring a fruit salad and something like a “coffeecake” – I really didn’t want to just buy one (Yes! Even a good one at Whole Foods!) So I am going to make THIS splendid concoctions – I can’t wait to try it. Thanks!
