The title of this book is what drew me to it. Anything that only takes one bowl is already a win in my opinion. I love to bake, but I hate all the dishes that usually come with it. That’s why I had to take a look at One Bowl Baking by Yvonne Ruperti.
The book includes one bowl recipes for muffins, cookies, cupcakes, snack cakes, breads, cakes, cheesecakes, and more. The book includes beautiful photographs for many of the recipes. Each of the recipes is introduced by the author and gives you a glimpse into where the recipe originated or what you can do to make the dessert perfect.
I love that some of the recipes bypass the bowl all together and go straight to mixing all the ingredients together in the pan. That’s my kind of recipe. Reading through the book I appreciate that these are true from scratch recipes that are easy to follow and understand.
I found many recipes that I’d like to try including one for White Chocolate Cream Cheese Pound Cake. Less than 10 ingredients mixed together make this delightful little treat. I’m thinking this will be perfect for my next girlfriend brunch that I host.
