Now that I am trying to cut out all soda I am finding that I am enjoying tea a lot more. A cup of tea in the afternoon and/or in the evening is very soothing. There is just something about the aroma and flavor that I really enjoy.
Lipton Tea has three new Green Tea Superfruit: Red Goji and Raspberry; Purple Acai and Blueberry; White Mangosteen and Peach. I tried each and enjoyed them all. The Red Goji and Raspberry is probably my favorite.
I wanted to come up with a tasty treat to have with my tea so I made Raspberry Lime Bites. Fair warning, these are very addictive. I highly recommend only making a couple at a time unless you are having friends over for tea and a treat.
Raspberry Lime Bites
1-8oz package of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 tsp lime zest
1 Tbsp of fresh lime juice
30-mini phyllo pastry shells, Â thawed
30 fresh raspberries
4 ounces white chocolate, melted
Stir together cream cheese, powdered sugar, lime zest, and lime juice. Evenly spoon mixture into pastry shells. Top each with a fresh raspberry and then drizzle with white chocolate.
Easy peasy. It takes less than 15 minutes to makes these tasty treats.
