Innisbrook Resort, located just north of Tampa, is a premier golf destination, but it’s also a great place to shake off the winter blahs and welcome in Spring. Bring the kids because Innisbrook Resort also offers lots of family friendly activities. The sprawling resort offers a nice selection accommodations with many rooms overlooking the green golf course. Of course, once at Innisbrook Resort you can park the car and enjoy your stay. The resort offers restaurants, a small grocer, spa, fitness center, pools, special events, and, of course, golf.

ROOMS

We stayed in an executive suite, complete with living room, dining area and kitchenette. It also had a balcony overlooking the golf course which was the perfect place to kick back and relax. The beds were very comfy and I had no problem snuggling in and getting a good nights rest each night.

I enjoyed having a kitchenette available to make breakfast and dinner. It’s so much easier for me to be able to cook in since Em has such a limited diet. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed including a coffee maker.

AMENITIES

Wifi & High Speed Internet Access: ALmost everywhere offers free wifi and high speed internet, but it’s always a toss up if it will actually work or not. At Innisbrook my wifi worked really well. I even hosted a twitter party during my stay without any interruption in service.

Trolley: Innisbrook offers a free trolley around the resort. Just call the front desk and they’ll send the trolley around to your room.

In Room Grocery: This is a wonderful service. Simply place your grocery order prior to arriving at the resort. When you check into your room the groceries will be put away in the kitchen cabinets. Love that it takes one more thing off my to do list so I can spend more time enjoying the resort.

FUN

Innisbrook offers so much more than golf. There is 11 clay tennis courts, 6 swimming pools, 60 acres of lakes for fishing, miles of jogging and cycling (bike rentals available) trails, a nature walk and so much more.

The pools are perfect for family fun. A Loch Ness Monster Pool also has water slides. It is sure to keep the kids entertained for hours on end.

If you are a fishing enthusiast you will find largemouth bass, catfish and bluegills in Lake Innisbrook. Nature lover’s will enjoy the walkways, trails and 900 acres of landscape.

Don’t forget to book some R&R at the spa. Enjoy a massage, sugar scrub, facial or one of the many other offerings at Indaba Spa.

disclaimer: I received a complimentary stay at Innisbrook Resort in exchange for my honest review or their resort.
