Another successful winter rafting trip is in the books!! A balmy 25 degrees with just a bit of icy wind. So tranquil floating down the Jordan River in northern Michigan. We love this river in the winter.

We arrived in St Louis to overcast skies and cold, cold rain. .
However, travel days don’t just happen when it’s sunny and gorgeous out. So, we bundled up and headed out to explore the Gateway Arch National Park. .
Regardless of the weather we had a really great time! .
@explorestlouis is one of my favorite big small cities. So much food, culture, and fun packed inside its borders.

If you’ve never been I highly recommended a visit. After going to the park be sure you make time for @citymuseum it’s a completely unexpected surprise.

Embracing all that northern Michigan has to offer. We recently done a skiable feast, well snowshoe feast for me, at Treetops resort in Gaylord, MI. .
We snowshoed from food tent to food tent and enjoyed delicious bites and wine at each stop. .
I’m not a fan of winter, but trying to get outside a little bit and this was so much fun! .

This coming weekend I’m going back out on the ri

This coming weekend I’m going back out on the river for another guided winter rafting trip and I can’t wait!!

I’ve always been the person that dreads winter and hibernates until spring. .
However last year I discovered winter rafting and fell in love!! .
The peace and quiet of being on the river in winter just can’t be replicated in the summer. There’s just something a bit more tranquil with a winter float.
