#ad I’m thrilled to report that I’m crushing my wellness goals so far this year! Working out, eating healthier and taking time for self-care. When the weather is tolerable I head outside for some exercise, but so grateful for the @silverandfit videos.

They have an incredible selection of exercise classes that lets me switch up my workouts when it’s too cold or dreary to get outside.

Note—enjoying an infrared sauna is a nice way to treat yourself! Also, the red light makes everyone look great 😆

So we done a thing today. We finally ventured out to enjoy a meal out since this pandemic began. Alan has been very hesitant about dining in. Fortunately, we discovered that @ironfishdistillery had tents for dining in while maintaining social distance. 🥰

Overall we give the experience a 10/10. We loved the tents, they were toasty warm and comfy. Sadly, we’d give the food/cocktails a 4/10 😮 Emma’s first cocktail arrived with a hair in it, we asked for a replacement and the 2nd cocktail arrived in a chipped glass 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Pizza was simply eh and wouldn’t order again. However the spinach and bacon dip was delicious.

Michigan friends, if you find yourself on US131 on the west side of the state and you want an incredibly delicious sandwich take exit 131, go west about a 1/4 mile and swing into the BP station.

Attached to the station is @fatbellydeli and it is FANTASTIC!!! What a freaking hidden gem...this is a time Yelp did not disappoint.!

One sandwich is plenty for 2 people, IMO BUT we ordered two because I always want to try everything 🤣

We got the Crown Victoria and Jacked Up Cuban, So.Freaking. GOOD!! Get the potato salad for your side, just sayin’

Also, the gourmet popcorn we bought for a little after lunch sweet treat was gone in a matter of minutes 😆

I’m not going to lie, I’m missing Mardi Gras h

I’m not going to lie, I’m missing Mardi Gras hard this year. It has been hard not traveling like I used to. For the most part I’ve handled it well, but missing Mardi Gras has been especially tough. I don’t know why, maybe because were a year in to this pandemic and it feels like there is no end in sight, maybe because Mardi Gras is just about the most fun you can have on the planet and we can all use more of that! 🤷‍♀️

I was beyond delighted when this Louisiana box showed up at my door today packed with Mardi Gras colors and fun!

So grateful for the connections I’ve made in the travel industry. This made my day so much brighter.

I’m definitely not one that loves to exercise/wo

I’m definitely not one that loves to exercise/work out, I mean, I’d rather do just about anything else.

Let’s be honest though, getting older makes getting in shape a top priority for me. I’ve watched both my parents fall victim to really bad health issues due to life choices and thats NOT going to be me. #sponsored

Thankfully, @silverandfit makes working out sooo easy and fun!! Which is great because in addition to get healthier I need to shed some pounds and tone up before my son’s wedding this summer. 😮
