Coco Key Water Resort
Want to stay near Disney, Orlando, outlet malls and other fabulous Orlando attractions? Would you rather spend money on fun instead of lodging? Want a clean, safe hotel that offers lots of activities for kids AND a water park? Look no further than Coco Key Water Resort.

LOCATION

Coco Key Water Resort

Coco Key Water Resort is located in the midst of all the International Drive fun and is minutes from Universal Studios. A free shuttle provides transportation to Universal and Sea World and Walt Disney are just a short drive away. There are 3 restaurants on-site and a number of others within an easy walk from the resort.

ROOMS

Coco Key Water Resort

Our room was colorful, clean and located pool side. We loved being able to leave the room and take 10 steps to the pool. The small fridge and microwave let us have some meals in the room which is a nice switch from eating out all the time. The rooms are a nice size for a family of 4. Larger family? No worries, there are rooms that connect to allow for up to 8 people in a 2-room suite.  There is also a coffee/tea maker, in-room safe, Wi-Fi and flat screen tvs in each room.

Other amenities include a fitness center, business center and guest laundry.

WATER PARK/ACTIVITIES

Coco Key Water Resort
CoCo Key Water Resort combines the relaxation of the tropics with the excitement of an adventure-filled, 54,000 sq. ft. canopy-covered and outdoor water park. The Water Park features 14 water slides, 5 story Sun Set Slide Tower, toddler pool, teen pool, an interactive play area, and KeyQuest, a state-of-the-art 6,500 sq. ft. arcade. There are plenty of certified lifeguards and complimentary life preservers to help keep everyone safe.

The Boomerango is a two-person tube thrill slide that lets guests drop at 40 MPH, get vertical, and creates a sense of weightlessness. There are only 8 water slides like this in the country and you’ll find one right here at Coco Key Water Resort!!

In the addition to the water resort there is an outdoor heated pool and hot tub at the other end of the resort. At this pool area there are cabanas which makes for a very nice place to enjoy some much needed R&R after a full day at the theme parks.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Coco Key Water Resort
Coco Key Water Resort offers guests complimentary scheduled transportation to Universal, SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Wet n Wild. Plus, resort guests receive a special Universal & SeaWorld Bonus Benefits Card. The card provides select discounts on food & non-alcoholic beverages and merchandise at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk. Additionally, Golf Universal Orlando Benefits provide opportunitiesto save at nearby golf courses. At SeaWorld, the benefits card offers discount options on dining and merchandise.

During the low season rooms fall as low as $70/night and during the high season the highest rate you’ll generally see is $150/night. That price can’t be beat for a water resort stay in Orlando. Check room prices here.

disclaimer: I received complimentary lodging to share my experience with my readers. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I want to thank Coco Key Water Resort for allowing me to use their photos for this article.
