Easter is one of the most celebrated and cherished holidays and we’re super excited to partner with Catholic Central to celebrate this time of new life and transformation.
As most of you know by now I’m not Catholic nor do I pretend to be online. I’m probably as far from Catholic as one can get, BUT I will say that they have had some epically fun tips and videos lately.
Just because I’m not Catholic doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate what they are sharing. I mean, what’s not to love about tips to prep for your epic Easter.
I know I can usually use some tips for holidays and I’m always open to hearing how others get things done. Of course, now that the kids are all grown up and living far away we don’t really celebrate any special traditions.
When they were little we’d celebrate by hiding plastic eggs in the yard for an Easter Egg hunt. Some of those years we’d be hiding those eggs in the snow. Darn northern Michigan weather.
There would be Easter baskets and a nice Easter dinner with just the four of us. Our extended family lives far away so it’s been the four of us always. (Which, btw, kinda sucks now that they live far away, but that’s another story for another time).
6 Tips To Prep For Your Epic Easter
So what tips does Catholic Central have to share? I’ll share my favorite ones and then be sure to click and print the PDF for more tips.
Egg Peel-A-Thon
Ok, this is pretty much genius. Think about it. You’re going to want to make deviled eggs or potato salad for Easter dinner and by hosting an egg peel-a-thon you just made a game out of peeling all those eggs! SMART!!
Eggsercise
Another great idea. The kids will be hopped up on chocolate so putting some extra activities in those eggs should burn off some of that excitement.
