Iced Tea is a summer staple. It is refreshing, it is delicious and iced tea is a great way to stay hydrated in the heat of the summer. Making your own iced tea at home has many benefits. Not only is it considerably less expensive than purchasing bottled tea, but making your own tea is kind to the environment and it is a great way to reduce the amount of sugar, calories and artificial ingredients in your diet.

Mighty Leaf Iced Tea is a family owned company that produces innovative whole leaf tea that is wrapped in a silken pouch to create the largest tea bag you have probably ever seen. Mighty Leaf Iced Tea is available in four varieties including Organic Black, Sunburst Green, Ginger Peach and Calypso Mango, to tantalize your taste buds while offering you all natural refreshment that is worthy of writing home about.

I would like to challenge you to say goodbye to bottles this summer and make easy, frugal and green DIY Mighty Leaf Iced Tea. To get you started on this challenge I have a great giveaway for you. One reader is going to win a prize pack from Mighty Leaf that includes a box of each of the Mighty Leaf Iced Teas, a Takeya flash brew iced tea pitcher, and a Takeya glass water bottle. 2. Anne says

My favorite iced tea is from a big jug of sun tea using regular black tea bags, sometimes with one flavored tea bag added for a kick. I’d love to try it with Mighty Leaf’s Ginger Peach tea!

  3. Carolsue says

I prefer plain old black iced tea with no flavoring or lemon. I put some Splenda in it, that’s all. Tazo is, so far, my favorite brand. Never tried Mighty Leaf.

  12. Melissa Hartley says

I would love to try peach tea but usually I just have plain old iced tea from Walmart’s Great Value brand:) .. oh, & it has to be sweet whatever brand of tea I choose.

  13. Jesselyn A/Jesstinger says

Actually, I usually make my own – and we especially like iced tea made with (Mighty Leaf’s) Orange Dulce tea and sweeten it (maybe) with a little Honey and enhance with either fresh squeezed Orange or Lemon juice!

Of the Prize (and to be prized!) flavors – They all sound wonderful (and I know that every Mighty Leaf Tea we’ve tried was fabulous!) I’m most interested in the Ginger Peach because – well I love both of those flavors! – and because I’ve been trying to consume more Ginger – which reputed has many health benefits I could sure use!

  14. Priscilla Benavides says

My favorite is Jasmine Green Tea!
